Plan of Action for the environment and health of children in Serbia

Educational seminars within the project "Capacity Building for Implementation Action plan for environment and health of children in Serbia and strengthen public awareness"were held in the City institute for Public Health of Belgrade, 1 December and 4 December 2009th year.The Project manager of this project is the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Serbia, and Implementation partner for the Serbian Public Health Association.

One of the goals project is capacity-building activities and the holders of the relevant partners for implementation Plan of Action for the environment and health of children in Serbia.

According to the schedule of activities during the month of December, realized the remaining two seminars on "Plan of Action Environment and health of children in Serbia ".

The seminars were designed for representatives of the Institute and the Institute of Public Health, representatives of local government offices and youth, in order to improve their cooperation and partnerships in the development of future joint activities in the implementation Action Plan Environment and health of children in Serbia.

The first seminar was held on 1st December 2009th year for representatives from Kragujevac, Bridge, Zajecar, Cacak, Uzice and Kraljevo, which was attended by 18 participants. In addition to introductory lectures and work took place through workshops during which participants are given full contribution to the representation of current practice, the ranking of future activities and identifying the major partners in the local community. 

The second seminar was held on 4th December 2009th year for representatives from Nis, Leskovac, Vranje, Pirot and Krusevac. Participants took an active part in radioničarskom work and made very useful suggestions for future work together.

In this way, implemented a series of 4 seminars on "Action Plan Environment and health of children in Serbia, "as it was envisaged plan of project activities.
